    In September of 1979, a few weeks after Mr. Ansel opened his doors to start his new law practice, the widow of the deceased came to see him to have her will probated as a result of her husband's unfortunate death. He was essentially decapitated when the power cart he was driving started up in gear causing it to ram into an airplane on the tarmac where he was employed. Mr. Ansel felt there was the potential of a products liability action against the manufacture and so advised his new client. During trial, the case settled. That was Mr. Ansel’s first result in excess of one million dollars.
